Beginning Knitting, Crochet and Support in Person

The easiest way to learn how to knit or crochet is from a live teacher who can give you hands on support. This small, outdoor class in west Berkeley is for people who have never knit before, as well as advanced beginners who need help with works in progress. Newbies will master basic skills, learn how to “read” their work and to correct common mistakes. We will discuss different types of needles, yarn and other tools and take a peek at patterns and terminology. Beginners will need to bring a ball light colored worsted weight yarn (preferably not cotton) and size 8 knitting needles or a size J crochet hook.
