Circular Yoke Sweater Zoom Class
Do you want to learn how to knit a top-down, Fair Isle, circular yoke sweater? If you can knit in the round and do basic stranded technique, then you have the basic skills you need to do it! I will guide students through the process of knitting the Almanac Sweater by Tin Can Knits, a lovely, aran weight, seamless pull over. This is a good first sweater class if you have a solid handle on hats or other small knitted items that require regular increases or decreases. Please note that you will need to purchase the pattern and all required materials before class. You will also need to do a gauge swatch in the round to ensure you can make a properly fitted sweater.
You will be surprised how fast a stranded aran or worsted weight sweater knit. We will meet every other week for two hours for a total of three sessions: Thursdays, 2:30-4:30pm, May 14, 28 and June 11th. This will give you plenty of time to ask questions and watch me demonstrate each step.
